Letter Roll Beginning Sounds Activity: Play Letter Roll to practice brainstorming and writing words that start with various consonants. Roll a die to land on a letter and write that letter in the box on your answer sheet (various types of writing sheets are provided). Flip over a timer to begin game play. Write down as many words as you can think of that begin with that letter. After time is up, share your answers with the group and record how many words you got correct on the score sheet. Play four rounds of Letter Roll and add up each player’s total score. The player with the most words is the winner!
